How to Setup Stripe Payouts

To start receiving payments on Volume.com, please secure your account by verifying your email and enabling Two-Step Verification. Once secured, you can link your bank account via Stripe using the steps below.

Step 1: Verify Your Email Address

1. Log in to your account.

2. Click the User Menu located at the top-right corner of the homepage and select Account Settings.  

3. If you haven't verified your email when creating your Volume.com account, you can do so by selecting Account Details.

4.  If necessary, be sure to change or update your email address by selecting the "Change Email" 
   

Step 2: Enable Two-Step Verification (2FA)

For your security, payment features are only available once 2FA is active.

1. Click the User Menu located at the top-right corner of the homepage and select Account Settings. 

2. Navigate to the Two-Step Authorization. 
   

3. Add a verification method (such as a phone number) and follow the prompts to verify it.

4. Ensure the toggle for Two-Step Verification is set to Enabled.

Step 3: Link Your Bank via Stripe

Once your account is secure, you can provide your payment details.

1. Return to the User Menu (top right) and select Account Settings.

2. Click on the Earnings & Payouts tab.  

Note: If prompted, please review and sign the Independent Artist Agreement to proceed.

  3. Click the Create Stripe Account button.  

  4. Click Enter Bank/Payment Information.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your bank account through the secure bank authorization
      login.

Note: To avoid extra verification paperwork, please use the Bank OAuth login within Stripe. Manually entering your routing and account numbers will require additional time and documentation.

• Verification Time: Stripe typically verifies the account immediately; however, if additional verification is required, Stripe may request further information via email.

• Confirmation: Upon completion you will be prompted back to the Earnings & Payouts page

• Payout schedules are subject to internal processing times. Volume.com reserves the right to hold or delay the release of funds for the purposes of account auditing, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Actual settlement times may vary based on the results of these required security protocols.
